B.Adedipe Associate Limited (“BAA Consult”, for short) was incorporated in February 1993, as General Management and Financial Consultants, and commenced operations in March 1994. We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Account Officer

Job Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Objective

• To ensure prompt and accurate accounting documentations and reporting that will support the firm’s strategic objectives.

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage account payables and accounts receivables in order to ensure complete and accurate records of all transactions
• Prepare all financial reports and statutory accounts.
• Ensure periodic compliance activities are performed in a timely and accurate manner
• Ensure all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed and reported.
• Manage petty cash transactions.
• Ensure all payments amounts & records are accurate.
• Reconcile accounts with the general ledger.
• Check invoices for inaccuracies.
• Follow up on payments for transactions.

Job Requirements

• BSc / HND in Accounting or related fields (minimum of 2:2 /lower Credit)
• 2 - 3 year’s work experience
• Good knowledge of financial regulations, including taxation and government regulatory and reporting requirements
• Good knowledge of financial accounting, budgeting, control, and reporting principles, methods, techniques, and standards
• Excellent knowledge of Accounting Software (Quickbooks, Sage) required
• Good team player with excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and contemporary data management software
• Not more than 30 years.
