Job Position: Accountant

Job Location: Ajao Estate,  Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Work Style: Onsite (8:00am – 5:30pm)

Summary

• This role requires a mature, analytical, and proactive professional with solid technical accounting skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records.
• Handle VAT, WHT, PAYE, and other statutory remittances.
• Manage payroll processing and staff deductions.
• Perform bank reconciliations and manage cash flow records.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly management accounts.
• Use accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, etc.) efficiently.
• Support audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Provide financial reports and analysis to management for decision-making.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Professional certification (ICAN, ACA, ACCA) is an added advantage.
• Strong proficiency in Excel (lookup functions, pivot tables, analysis).
• Solid experience with VAT, WHT, PAYE, payroll, and bank reconciliation.
• Excellent attention to detail, integrity, communication, and analytical skills.
• Leadership ability and professional maturity.

Salary & Benefits

• N200,000 – N250,000 monthly (can go up to N300,000 for exceptional candidates).
