LeadHire Limited - Our client, a MicroFinance bank requires the services of a suitably qualified candidate to fill the position below:

Job Position: Accountant
Job Location: Festac, Lagos

Requirements

• B.Sc/HND holders with a minimum of 7 years experience and 5 years of it must be in a Microfinance bank.
• Knowledge of Bank One software is required.
• Candidates residing around Festac Town would be given preference.
• ACA or ACCA Certified.
• MicroFinance Banking Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Manage all accounting operations based on accounting principles.
• Prepare budget and financial forecasts.
• Publish financial statements in time.
• Conduct monthend and yearend close process.
• Collect, analyze and summarize account information.
• Compute taxes and prepare tax returns, balance sheet, profit/loss statement etc.
• Develop periodic reports for management.
• Audit financial transactions and document accounting control procedures.
• Keep information confidential and secure them with random database backups.
• Keep up with financial policies, regulation and legislation.
