Job Overview
- As the Administrative Accountant, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our team while also managing the financial records and accounts.
- This is a multifaceted role that requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to handle various tasks simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities
Administrative Duties:
- Coordinate appointments and meetings, and maintain calendars for senior staff.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client and property databases.
- Monitor and order office supplies as needed.
- Assist in making travel arrangements for staff when required.
- Ensure that all client information and interactions are properly documented.
- Organize and maintain physical and digital files, ensuring easy retrieval of documents.
- Provide support with ad-hoc administrative tasks and projects as required.
Accounting & Bookkeeping:
- Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Generate and send invoices to clients and tenants, and follow up on overdue payments.
- Prepare financial reports and statements for review by senior management.
- Regularly reconcile bank statements to ensure accuracy.
- Record and categorize company expenses, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Assist with tax preparation and ensure adherence to tax regulations.
Qualifications
- A Degree or equivalent on Accounting / Business Administration.
- 1-2 years of experience in both administrative and accounting roles respectively.Experience in real estate accounting is advantageous.
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Keen attention to detail to maintain accurate financial records.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with the utmost confidentiality.

Salary
- N100,000 monthly.
