Job Position: Assistant Farm Manager

Job Location: Ibadan, Oyo
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

• Assist the Farm Manager in developing and implementing farm production plans and strategies.
• Oversee daily farm operations, including planting, harvesting, irrigation, and livestock care.
• Perform physical labor as required, including planting, weeding, harvesting, and animal care.
• Assist with the implementation of new technologies and practices.
• Manage equipment maintenance and repairs.
• Maintain farm buildings and grounds.
• Manage and motivate farm staff, providing training and ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
• Monitor crop and animal health, identifying and addressing any problems promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of farm activities, including production data, expenses, and inventory.
• Prepare reports and analyze data to evaluate farm performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Communicate effectively with the Farm Manager, farm staff, and other stakeholders.
• Be a responsible steward of the land and natural resources.

Requirements

• 2 - 4 years of experience in farm management
• Ability to drive will be an added advantage
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work long hours and in all weather conditions
• Strong leadership and management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Candidate must be willing to relocate to Olodo,Ibadan or live within it’s environment.

Salary
N40,000 - N70,000 / month.
