We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Position: Assistant Store Keeper
Job Location: Ikoyi, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
- Receive materials from contract, suppliers, contractors and other sites for safekeeping and issuance to end-users.
- Check goods and materials received and ensure that they are of the required quality and quantity.
- Issue materials to end-user after due authorization to ensure smooth flow of work on the sites.
- Transfer materials/good from base site to other sites as may be instructed from time to time.
- Take record of workers’ resumption and closing time on daily basis
- Issue tools to workers on resumption and retrieve them into the store at the close of work on daily stock
- Take inventory of stock items at regular intervals
- Ensure that concrete does not congeal before delivery to the end-users.
- Perform any duty that may be assigned from time to time.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree with 3 - 4 years of work experience.
Technical Competencies:
- Ability to serve as the store subject matter expert to staff on assigned job function
- Ability to establish yourself as a credible resource for all store/material orders involving assigned site.
- Strong ability to manage day-to-day stores activities across assigned sites.
- Must maintain general knowledge of ethical laws, standards, legislation, and trends that may affect material management and store practices.
- Ability to demonstrate flexibility, adaptability, and initiative
- Good reporting and administrative skills.
- Serve as a role model of ethical behavior and high integrity and by consistently conforming to the highest material management and organizational standards.
- Ability to plan and perform work that involves ordering, receiving, inspecting, returning, unloading, shelving, packing, labeling, pricing, delivering, and maintaining a perpetual inventory of forms, office supplies, and various types of equipment.
- Ability to use your discretion to determine when to rotate stock and arrange for disposal of surpluses
- Exceptional record-keeping skills to maintain inventory control, cost containment and to assure proper stock levels.
- Good computer skills: Microsoft Office Word and Excel, Email.
Salary
N150,000 - N200,000 monthly.
