Job Position: Backend Developer

Job Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain MongoDB databases and clusters.
• Create and manage roles and users.
• Optimize performance and ensure high availability.
• Collaborate with the application team to gather requirements and implement new features.
• Create and maintain document validation and optimization.
• Design and implement MongoDB architecture.
• Develop and maintain web applications using MongoDB and Node.js.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest developments in MongoDB and related technologies.

Qualifications

• Experience with relational databases (SQL).
• Experience with non-relational databases (No SQL).
• Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD).
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Experience with RESTful API design.
• Experience with unit testing and test-driven development.
• Strong understanding of OOP
• Experience with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with TypeScript.
• Experience with Java Script ES6 ES7.
• Experience with React.js.
• Experience with NoSQL databases other than MongoDB.
• Experience with MongoDB aggregation pipelines
• Experience with microservices architecture.
• Experience with Node.js frameworks such as Express or Koa
• Experience with AWS EC2 lamda and EBS.
• Experience with DevOps practices.
• Experience with GitHub.
