Bloomberg News is seeking an experienced reporter to help lead coverage of the Nigerian government and economy out of our Abuja office.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience covering economics and politics at a major newspaper or news service. Candidates should have a record of breaking important stories, covering spot news and be accustomed to producing clear and comprehensive enterprise pieces. Experience in Africa is a definite asset.


Requirements:
-Fluency in written and spoken English is essential
-Previous experience at a major newspaper or news service is essential
-Proven ability to write clear, concise, and accurate news stories
-Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
-Self-starter with an ability to develop contacts and navigate complex issues
