Job Position: Brands and Marketing Manager
Job Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary


  • We are looking to hire a Brands and Marketing Manager who will run the daily activities of the marketing team, develop brands initiatives, device and implement effective campaign strategies to increase market visibility of the company's product

Key Responsibilities

  • Research and determine product weaknesses and areas to be modified
  • Conduct competitive strategic analysis, consumer segmentation, and consumer insight development
  • Measure and report performance of all marketing campaigns, and assess ROI and KPIs
  • Monitor market trends, research consumer markets and competitors’ activities
  • Making decisions about the cost of branding and analyzing trends in customer spending
  • Overseeing social media accounts and ensure brand consistency
  • Oversee new and ongoing marketing and advertising activities
  • Align the company around the brand’s direction, choices and tactics
  • Devise innovative growth strategies
  • Creating designs and layouts for media outlets
  • Manage a team of marketing people working on brand initiatives
  • Writing pitches, blog posts and articles

Requirements
Education:

  • Higher Degree Diploma in Art / Science or Bachelor of Art / Science / Education in Marketing or a related field.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years experience as a Brand Manager; food industry experience will be an addedadvantage

Other Requirements and Skills:

  • Proven working experience as Brand Manager, for food processing company
  • Proven ability to develop brand and marketing strategies and communicate recommendations to executives
  • Strong analytical skills partnered with a creative mind
  • Data-driven thinking and an affinity for numbers
  • Experience in identifying target audiences and devising effective campaigns
  • Excellent understanding of the full marketing mix
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Up-to-date with latest trends and marketing best practices.
