Job Description


  • The Business Manager will lead a ‘smart lean team’ that will interface with advertisers, prospects & customers, users, channel partners and OEMs’ representatives to ensure smooth business operations with guaranteed revenue streams.
  • S/he will be responsible for the following: Business Development Management, Revenue Assurance, Accounts/Finance, Tax, and Admin & HR/Payroll.
  • The successful candidate will have an experience working with a professional digital news organization, superior news judgment, excellent communication skills, deep understanding and passion for the digital and pop cultural landscape across Africa with intimate knowledge of the latest and greatest in social media, content, emerging technology platforms and renewable energy solutions.

Required Qualifications

  • Relevant B.Sc. from a reputable university preferably.
  • Must have completed NYSC
  • Must possess sound understanding of (and/or be willing to learn) Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs)
  • Must possess sound understanding of (and/or be willing to learn) Revenue Assurance models for IPP solutions
  • Not more than 32 years old
  • 3-5 year experience is required
  • Must possess sound understanding of (and/or be willing to learn) Digital Media Operations, Business Development & Multiple Revenue Generation Opportunities
  • This role requires a high level of creativity, attention to detail, project management and business development skills.
