Palace Workers Solution, a recruitment hub, is recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Cashier

Job Location: Ogba, Lagos

Core Responsibilities

• Customer service: Greet customers warmly, answer questions about products, and provide helpful assistance throughout their shopping experience.
• Transaction processing: Scan items, ensure prices are accurate, and process payments through cash, credit, or other methods.
• Cash handling: Calculate and accurately return change, and balance the cash register at the beginning and end of shifts.
• Checkout area maintenance: Keep the checkout station clean, organized, and well-stocked with necessary supplies.

Additional Duties:

• Problem-solving: Handle customer complaints, returns, and exchanges in a professional manner.
• Inventory management: Restock shelves and assist with monitoring inventory levels when needed.
• Sales support: Sometimes cross-sell or upsell products to customers.
• Operational tasks: Complete opening and closing procedures and collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth store operations.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree, HND qualification / Bachelor's Degree with at least 2 years of work experience.
