Corporate Skills Bridge Limited - Our client, a medium-sized company in the Mobile Phone and Lighting Equipment industry, with Head Office in Lagos and branches in four strategic locations across the country as well as other parts of the West African sub-region, needs vibrant and intelligent individuals to fill the position below:

Job Position: Compliance Officer and Warehouse Officer
Job Location: Nigeria

Job Description

• Ensure compliance to all rules and regulations as per company policy
• Supervise daily stock-taking exercise and send independent figures to the Company Auditor
• Check receivables on the system and alert all members of staff on strategies to recover Same
• Ensure that all system transactions are treated immediately they occur
• Approve invoice(s) for goods to be supplied to customer's)
• Alert head office on all irregularities that occur
• Sanction all attempts of circumvention of process
• Ensure that staff keep to their job roles
• Prepare monthly comprehensive report to the Internal Auditor
• Approve all cash spent from petty cash in line with WREN test
• Ensure compliance procedure in the management of warehouse
• In case of stock out, to report promptly to the Internal Auditor
• Periodically identify slow moving items and recommend necessary action(s)
• Establish good relationship with customers
• Perform any other role assigned by the Internal Control and Audit Unit
• Encourage staff voluntary compliance
• Recommend necessary disciplinary measures when there is policy breach from staff
• Update internal policies periodically
• Assist the Internal Audit and Internal Control on policy design and execution,

Qualifications and Requirements

• Minimum of B.Sc. Second Class Lower Division OR HND, Lower Credit in Accounting, Auditing, Banking and Finance or Law; AAT.
• At least one year of cognate experience will be an added advantage
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent analytical skills with good attention to details.
