Waybill Naija, a Dispatch delivery company in Rivers State, is looking for a vibrant and experienced candidate to fill the position below:

Job Position: Delivery Rider
Job Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• The ideal candidate must keep the company bike clean at all times.
• Conduct inspections of Bike prior to dispatch operations to ascertain its good condition.
• Report on all matters concerning the motorcycle to the supervisor.
• Ensures the efficient and timely delivery of packages to any location that is assigned.
• Responsible for contacting clients to verify delivery address or pickup locations.
• Responsible for the timely pickup and safe delivery of items to clients.
• Package and load items into the bike according to the company’s material handling process.
• Maintain excellent polite and cordial communication with colleagues and clients.
• Obtain delivery confirmations from each customer according to the company's requirements.
• Record information such as items received and delivered.
• Ensure personal safety and obey traffic regulations.

Requirements

• A minimum of Secondary School Certificate (SSCE)
• 1 - 4 years of work experience.
• The ideal candidate must have a little knowledge of mechanical repair
• The ideal candidate must be ready to resume work immediately and must have two good verify guarantors.
• Able to read, write, understand and communicate in English language.
• Proven experience as a dispatch rider.
• Must have a Rider’s Permit and any other relevant licenses.
• Familiarity with road networks in Port Harcourt.
• Have good numeracy skills for delivery records.
• Should be friendly, presentable, reliable and punctual.
