Job Position: Dock Supervisor
Job Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• The Dock Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a shipping/receiving dock. This includes ensuring that all cargo is safely and securely loaded/unloaded.
• The Dock Supervisor is also responsible for coordinating with other departments to ensure that shipments are scheduled and routed properly.
• The Dock Supervisor will be responsible for the training, scheduling, and supervision of dock workers
• The Dock Supervisor will also be responsible for conducting regular inspections of the loading dock and equipment, as well as maintaining accurate records of dock activities.
• The Dock supervisor will ensure proper safety procedures are followed; and ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
• The Dock Supervisor will oversee the dock drivers and all office equipment and machines.

Requirements

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree / HND in any relevant Engineering field.
• Minimum of 5 years of Proven work experience as a Dock Supervisor or a related role.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently and effectively under pressure.

Salary
N300,000 - N500,000 Monthly.
