Job Position: Security Coordinator
Job Location: Ode-Remo, Ogun
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • We are looking to employ a qualified and competent security coordinator who will organize security procedures for our manufacturing facility.
  • As the security coordinator, you are also responsible for enforcing security procedures among your guard staff.
  • Your duties are to develop training programs, regulate entry to the building, and manage the security department as a whole.
  • You can get a foothold in this career through security experience alone, but a background in law enforcement can help you secure a position.
  • There are no formal educational qualifications needed to become a security coordinator.

Job Description

  • Continuously monitor the facility for both internal and external security threats and risks
  • Advise facility management on security related issues
  • Implement local security protocols
  • Ensure compliance with both corporate and local security policies and procedures
  • Supervise security officers assigned to the facility
  • Prepare reports and conduct preliminary investigations of security related incidents
  • Work with local law enforcement officials as needed
  • Undertake any other duties as directed by the Chief Security Officer.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field.
  • Valid competency certificates
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in this position.

  • The safety officer will compile safety programs and standardize them to remain consistent, as well as share best practice techniques at regular staff meetings.

Job Position: Accounts Officer - Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul

Job Description

  • The main purpose of an account officer is to analyse financial activities
  • Collect invoices/bills and make payments ensuring the prevailing financial rules and regulations of Practical Action
  • Prepare bank drafts and arrange for fund transfers against the payment of instalments to partners and other service providers as necessary
  • Calculate tax and other deductions to deduct from source while making payment
  • Process the travel and other expenditure claims complying the policies and procedures
  • Make salary payment on time and provide salary transfer notice staff members
  • Handle petty cash
  • Enter financial data into computerized accounting system and run reports
  • Provide accounting services to the concerned, especially the status of budget and expenditure
  • Keep Practical and informed of changes to accounting system/ structure/ procedures through training/presentation
  • Keep financial documents and records to meet the Group and subsidiaries requirements
  • Keep liaison with the bank and other government institutions in Finance functions
