Winford Properties Limited (WPL) was incorporated in Abuja Nigeria November 2020, it is a real estate subsidiary of the Winford Group, a conglomerate that operates in Oil and Gas, Transport, Logistic and Agro-Allied sectors.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Engineer

Job Location: Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Principal Responsibilities

• Manage all maintenance needs of the property to ensure the physical conditions of the building are met and contribute to the company business goals
• Perform daily inspection of grounds, interior and exterior, ensure that all physical aspects of the building are fully functional at all times
• Must be able to use a computer to record activities and communicate with various departments.
• Establish a professional relationship with tenants, vendors, and peers
• Direct team of engineers, porters, and security staff in absence of Chief and Asst. Chief Engineer.
• Maintain plumbing in restrooms (faucets/toilets)
• Complete tenant work orders effectively and efficiently.
• Implement and monitor programs to maximize revenue and control expense
• Monitor and enforce contract terms
• Implement & manage preventive maintenance programs to maximize value of the property and maintain quality of life
• Collaborate with mechanical trades to include Electricians, HVAC Technicians, Plumbers, Painters, Carpenters and Mechanics
• Oversee preventive maintenance programs and maintain records for HVAC system
• Manage and Operate the BMS
• Change filters and belts on HVAC units
• Perform preventative maintenance on Dry Cooler and Cooling Towers
• Maintain mechanical areas, appliances, equipment, fire pump room, emergency equipment, signage, photo luminescent signage, power, switches
• Assist with drain downs and refilling of sprinkler/standpipe systems
• Perform carpentry repairs and paint as needed.
• Create, support and implement fire safety and evacuation plan, along with training.
• Conduct fire drills and evacuation drills in conjunction with consultant.
• Provide FSD/EAP coverage during business hours and after hours when needed.
• Assure property is compliant with Fire NYC Codes.

Requirements

• Interested candidates should possess a B.Sc Degree with 3 - 5 years relevant work experience.
• Fire Safety Director Certified
• Emergency Action Plan Director Certified
• Certificate of Fitness for S12, S13, B-9.
