Job Position: Experienced External Auditor
Job Location: Ajah, Lagos
Employment Type: Contract

Job Summary

• At Bellies Lounge, we are looking for an experienced External Auditor who will be responsible for performing procedures that test the efficiency and effectiveness of the Lounge internal controls put in place to achieve business objectives.
• The External Auditor will help scrutinize the financial statements of the Lounge and report on their financial positions and findings.
• The external auditor is responsible for investigating financial statements for errors and fraud, performing audits on operations, reporting on findings, and providing recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Plan effective auditing processes
• Audit / evaluating financial statements and assess accounts for accuracy and regulatory compliance
• Inspect internal systems and controls
• Assess risk management tactics and approaches
• Report systematic errors or fraud indicators
• Explain audit findings and recommend solutions
• Investigating internal systems and operations.
• Performing audits for other departments, as needed.
• Reporting on errors and fraud.
• Providing feedback reports on findings

Requirements and Skills

• Proven experience as an External Auditor
• Experience in data analysis and financial reporting on finances.
• Knowledge of external auditing practices and relevant regulations
• Familiar / proficiency with ERP software
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Sound judgment and decision-making ability
• Strong organizational skills
• Keen attention to detail
• Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles.
• Problem-solving skills.
• Professional and trustworthy.
