Job Position: Farm Accountant
Job Location: Benin City, Edo

Job Description

• The Farm Accountant plays a critical role in managing financial activities related to farming operations within our over 5,000 hectares of land.
• This position requires a blend of financial expertise, agricultural knowledge, and operational understanding to ensure accurate financial reporting, cost control, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial management, cost Analysis and control
• Inventory management, compliance and reporting
• Financial planning and analysis
• Farm performance monitoring, technology adoption and Innovation

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, agricultural economics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 - 5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably in the agriculture or agribusiness sector.
• Knowledge of agricultural practices, crop production cycles, and farm management principles.
• Professional certification such as ICAN, ACCA, or equivalent preferred.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic agricultural environment.

Salary
N300,000 - N400,000 per month.
