Job Description

• Position for a dedicated and experienced crop and animal farm manager to take the helm at a brand-new 15-acre agricultural venture in Orile Ilewo, Ogun State.

Key Responsibilities

• Farm Development: To lead the transformation of a 15-acre virgin site into a thriving agricultural venture.
• Plantation Management: To manage a plantation plan.
• Animal Farming: Experience of animal farming.
• Ability to manage both farm and workers on a day-to-day basis to maximise plant production and yield.
• Willingness to do manual farm work when necessary.
• Engagement and coordination sales of farm products and management of inventory.
• Management of at least 3 full time farm workers.
• Agronomic Savvy: To deploy good understanding of agronomics principles and soil chemistry to maximize crop yields and promote sustainable farming practices.
• Develop and implement strategies for planting, harvesting, irrigation, pest control, and fertilization.
• Daily report and accountability to farm director.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate in written and spoken English.
• Hands-On Experience: Proven practical experience in farm management regardless of size of farm.

Desirable but not essential:

• Resident in Abeokuta, Ogun State. Accommodation will be provided.

Salary Range

N80,000 - N150,000 / Month.
