We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Fiber Engineer
Job Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Contract

Job Description

• Oversee fiber optic cable deployment – including long distance and aerial cabling.
• Troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of fiber optics systems and ensure that they work properly
• Conduct timely inspections to make sure that faulty fiber optic system does not destabilize its performance
• Execute premises cabling and take care of the underground cabling requirements
• Support with survey and fiber optic transmission plan
• Fiber Splicing, termination, testing
• FTTH planning, services operation, and maintenance
• Manage the field operation sub-contractors and other third party contractors
• Effective monitoring and efficient management of all active and passive network equipment
• Formulate and maintain system records and system designs.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree with 3 - 7 years of work experience.
