Job Position: Field Engineer

Job Location: Lagos

Job Summary

Job Description

• You would be responsible for providing service and support to customers.
• On-site installation, repair, maintenance, and testing.
• You would diagnose errors or electrical problems and determine proper solutions or escalate when necessary.
• Responsible for planning, tracking, and documentation of project work.
• Swiftly diagnose and clear any faults or alarms or resolve all escalations within the period stipulated in SLAs.
• Ensure maintenance work undertaken by the team meet the specified standard and requirements.
• Prepare technical reports and make recommendations for improving operations and solving maintenance-related problems.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in telecom or related industry is a must.
• Must be below 28 years.
• Must possess hands-on skills in handling DC electrical wiring, batteries, and electrical earthing.
• Experience in the termination of electrical cables
• Knowledge of TCP/IP and ethernet termination is a bonus.
• Ability to read and interpret elect
• rical drawings and circuits.
• The ideal candidate must be physically fit and able to lift heavy equipment or batteries.
• Willingness to travel outside of Lagos
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word and spreadsheets.
