Enaro Energy is a startup Mini-Grid company that is currently developing a fully commercial, pilot mini-grid project in Nigeria with the intent to scale up and rapidly install several mini-grids across the country. We are a technology agnostic, distributed energy service provider that uses a variety of renewable and fossil fuel primary energy sources to provide competitively priced, predictable and reliable electrical power to small businesses and households across the country.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Finance Associate

Job Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

• The finance associate will provide financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data, and designing, maintaining and implementing of accounting systems.
• You will also be expected to carry out the systematic classification and assessment of accounting data and preparation of related managerial and financial reports.

Responsibilities
A few of your responsibilities include:

• Review and preparefinancial statements and accounting reports for management.
• Perform the processing and recording of accounts payable transactions and ensure that all invoices and staff reimbursements are paid accurately and in accordance with finance policies and procedures.
• Provide advice to the organization on taxation, purchases, and financing.
• Analyze financial information and summarize financial status by collecting information, preparing balance sheet profit and loss statements and other reports.
• Prepare and analyze the weekly/monthly budget/forecast to actual variance reports for the whole community.
• Develop budget and accounting policies and resolve accounting discrepancies.
• Assist the Auditor when applicable by providing supporting documentation and/or information on the internal process required for Audit.
• Responsible for day-to-day finance and accounting operations.

Qualifications and Requirements

• B.Sc / HND in any relevant field.
• At least 4 years relevant experience as an accountant or a finance officer.
• ICAN or ACCA qualifications are compulsory
• Good knowledge of Microsoft office package.
