Duties & Responsibilities
- As the Finance Manager you will manage the efficient and effective day to day running of the Finance department and develop the team to ensure the department has sufficient knowledge, skills, experience and capacity to meet the requirements of the business and any other ‘Businesses’ under the remit of Tsebo Rapid Nigeria Limited and/or within the Tsebo Nigeri.
- You will be responsible for ensuring that financial information is provided in a clear, timely and accurate manner to support and influence decision making and satisfying all reporting requirements.
The key responsibilities will include the following:
- Implementing the Finance department strategy, to ensure that it meets the business requirements and customer deliverables, as well as ensuring the departmental performances against goals.
- Leading, managing, and developing the Finance team, ensuring the efficient and effective use of resources.
- Identifying, implementing, and monitoring departmental Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in line with business objectives and, to continuously improve departmental performance.
- Ensure business compliance with Company accounting and administrative policies and practices, in conformance with legislation and generally accepted accounting practice
- Full compliance with tax regulations
- Driving cashflow and working capital improvement and managing the integrity of the balance sheet including debtor days and days payables.
- Managing Internal Controls
- Managing the Budgeting process
- Ensure a high level of credibility and manage strong working relationships with external parties, customers and advisors
- Adhere to all data protection policies and procedures put in place to safeguard personal data that the company holds on customers, suppliers, partners, vendors, contractors, employees etc.
Qualifications
- Qualified Chartered Accountant in a similar position
- B.Sc / HND & Master’s in Accounting / Finance.
- Professional Certification Qualification – ACA/ACCA.
