Job Position: Finance Officer

Job Summary

• The Finance Officer will work in the Finance Department responsible for financial transactions and activities of the organization.
• He/She will work closely with the Finance Manager to maintain accurate financial records, prepare financial reports, and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
• A dynamic financial services Company providing quick and emergency Loans (Kwikpay Credit) to individuals and SME Businesses, based on Lagos Island, request for employment, hardworking, focused and result-oriented individuals for the vacant position of Finance Officer.
• The Finance Officer will also provide support in the development of the organization’s budget and financial planning processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Record financial transactions: The Finance Officer will be responsible for recording and maintaining accurate financial transactions in the organization’s accounting system.
• Budgeting: The Finance Officer will assist in the development of the organization’s annual budget, and provide support in the ongoing monitoring and reporting of budget performance.
• Cash flow management: The Finance Officer will manage the organization’s cash flow and ensure that there are adequate funds to meet operational requirements.
• Compliance: The Finance Officer will ensure that the organization complies with relevant laws and regulations governing financial management.
• Prepare financial reports: The Finance Officer will prepare and present financial reports to the Finance Manager and other stakeholders in a timely and accurate manner.
• Financial analysis: The Finance Officer will conduct financial analysis to inform decision-making processes within the organization.
• Support audits: The Finance Officer will support the Finance Manager in preparing for internal and external audits.

Other Duties:

• The Finance Officer may be required to perform other duties as assigned by the Finance Manager or senior management.

Qualifications

• A Degree or Diploma in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• At least 2 years of experience in financial management or accounting.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial analysis.
• Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
