Value Seeds Limited is an indigenous crop seed production solution and development Company incorporated in 2009.  The Company is engaged in seed research, multiplication, processing and distribution of hybrids and seeds of improved varieties. We are focused on increasing farmers’ yields, nutrition and livelihood.  Our products offerings are two-fold: field crops and vegetables with technology dissemination. 

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Financial Accountant

Job Location: Kaduna
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Filing and maintaining records for easy retrieval.
• Generating invoices and waybills to our internal and external customers.
• Petty cash management, disbursement and reporting.
• Generating payments vouchers.
• Stock management, stocktaking, track processing activities, analyze stock movement and reporting.
• Bank reconciliation.
• Bookkeeping to ensure sales, purchases, expenses and any other records are up to date in SAGE system.
• Tax management and filing.
• Preparing weekly cash flow statements, and controlling expenditure and cash flow.
• Conducting internal audits such as system compliance and project spending.
