Job Position: Fire and Gas Engineer

Job Location: Nigeria

Responsibilities

• The Fire and Gas Engineer will be responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and improvement of fire and gas detection systems.

Qualification and Experience Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Instrumentation, or related field).
• Minimum of 7 years of experience as a Fire and Gas Engineer in the Oil and Gas sector Proficiency in fire and gas detection system design, installation, and maintenance.
• Strong understanding of fire and gas detection technologies, including detectors, sensors, and control systems.
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations, such as NFPA, IEC, and API.
• Certification in fire and gas detection systems, such as CFPS (Certified Fire Protection Specialist) or equivalent including knowledge of legal, regulatory, and compliance requirements as it relates to the oil and gas sector.
