DataMax Registrars is a leading provider of securities register and data administration services. We presently manage over 400,000 shareholders accounts and act as Registrars.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Frontend Engineer

Job Location: Lagos

About the Job

• We are looking for a highly skilled Front-end developer. Your knowledge of front-end JavaScript and browser APIs as well as significant experience with popular frameworks and libraries like Blade and Vue.JS.
• Experience should include traditional technologies like PHP, ASP.NET, and MySQL and you will be responsible for developing and implementing frontend designs, ensuring the responsiveness of applications, writing clean code and scalable algorithms.

Responsibilities

• Develop new user-facing features.
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use.
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
• Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability.
• Assure that all user input is validated before submitting to the back-end.
• Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Candidates must be a B.Sc. graduate in either of the following disciplines: Computer Science, Information Technology or any other related course.
• Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3.
• Basic understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS.
• Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery.
• Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX.
• Basic knowledge of image authoring tools, to be able to crop, resize, or perform small adjustments on an image. Familiarity with tools such as Gimp, Adobe XD or Photoshop is a plus.
• Good understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that application will adhere to them.
• Experience with software design and development in a test-driven environment.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Proven Laravel developer with at least 1-year of experience.
• Familiarity with database technology such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MSSQL, and MongoDB.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail.
