Job Position: Fuel Station Manager

Job Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

• To oversee the complete operations of a high-volume retail fuel station, ensuring exceptional customer service, operational efficiency, safety compliance, and profitability while leading a team of retail associates.

Responsibilities
Operations Management:

• Manage and oversee daily retail station operations ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure 100% product availability (fuel, lubricants, LPG) with proper inventory management.
• Implement visual merchandising standards for the convenience store.
• Oversee equipment maintenance (dispensers, tanks, POS systems)

Customer Service:

• Provide exceptional customer service, including customer complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner

HSSE Compliance:

• Enforce strict safety protocols (fuel handling, fire prevention).
• Conduct monthly safety drills and equipment checks.
• Ensure full compliance with DPR, SON, and environmental regulations.

Site Maintenance:

• Maintain impeccable station cleanliness
• Oversee landscaping and exterior appearance.
• Manage third-party vendors (cleaning, security).

Qualifications

• OND Qualification in Accounting, Business Administration, Marketing or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in retail management (fuel station preferred).

Experience:

• Experience in the oil and gas sector.
• POS and inventory management systems proficiency.
• Computer literate in Word, Excel, Office Outlook, and Financial Software. Skills:
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Problem-solving skills.
• Fuel volume throughput (Monthly).
• Non-fuel revenue contribution.
• Shrinkage control (90%).
