Job Position: General Accountant

Job Location: Lagos

Job Description

• The Ideal candidate for this role will be engaged in General Accounting role.
• The person must be disciplined and a top performer. He or she must be willing to work remotely and be knowledgeable in the use of team collaboration tool and accounting software.
• The ideal candidate must have strong business acumen.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain financial records and manage accounts payable/receivable.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and submit tax filings.
• Monitor and enforce internal financial controls.
• Analyze financial data for decision-making support.
• Support internal and external audit process
• Compile monthly Payroll details
• Collation and Documentation ofimmigration and health insuranceenrolment

Skills and Competencies

• Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree qualification with 4 - 6 years of work experience.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
• Knowledge of any team collaboration tools like Trello, Clickup, Asana, or Zoom, etc. is a must
• Knowledge of Peachtree or, QuickBooks is a great advantage.
