Job Position: Graduate Trainee UI / UX - Product Designer

Job Description

• As a leading remote-based company we’re open to giving young and creative product designers the opportunity to join our professional and talented pool of UI / UX & Product Engineers as Graduate Trainee.
• Ideally, the candidate should be able to build high-quality, innovative and fully performing software in compliance with coding standards and technical design.
• Software engineers must be skilled in product design, user research and product documentation.
• You will be committed to contributing to problem-solving technology solutions through innovative thinking and continuous learning
• The ability to learn and adopt new technologies is reflected in the quality of the product. As a product designer, you work between several small teams and can switch teams and projects as required.
• We need our engineers to be versatile and always eager to tackle new problems as we continue to push mobile technology adoption across Africa.

Job Responsibilities
Design Solutions & Customer Satisfaction:

• To assess user interaction by using competitive analysis, interviews, research, and Analytics
• To develop creative wireframes, flowcharts, prototypes, feature matrices solutions by using Adobe Creative Suites, XD or Figma
• To achieve customer satisfaction in meeting deadlines for key deliverables.

Team Collaboration & A / B Testing:

• To collaborate with product managers, engineers, developers, and researchers to brainstorm on product launch ideas
• To assist in post-launch analysis by conducting A / B testing and writing test cases.

UI Interface Design & Wireframing:

• To develop enriched user experience and interaction by creatively developing new design concepts, graphics, and layouts
• To liaise with the development team members to design digital products upholding the best UI/UX practices.

Client Relationship & Design Strategy User Experience & Testing:

• To assess client needs by brainstorming ideas for usable designs, graphics, and fixing UI issues
• To design low & high-fidelity user-interface prototypes encompassing web and mobile-based applications for clients
• To utilize Adobe Illustrator to compose interactive features such as buttons and icons for web pages
• Run usability testing on the prototype with a group of representative users to improve the design and identify problems
• Enhance experience at the journey, interaction, and relationship level by utilizing customer data & prior user engagement.

Qualifications / Requirements

• 1-4 years of demonstrated experience in creating and implementing UI design
• Proficient with visual design programs such as Adobe Photoshop is an added advantage
• Proficient with product design tools such as Adobe XD, Sketch, Invision, or Figma
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment to create top-performing interfaces
• Experience creating storyboards and site mapping
• Advanced problem-solving skills and the ability to optimize data for the best possible outcome
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple milestones and projects efficiently
• Professional written and interpersonal skills
• Continued education and research into UI trends and current design strategy and technology
• Experience with coding and ability to troubleshoot using HTML, CSS and comparable languages is an added advantage.

Salary Range
N75,000 - N100,000 / Month.
