Job Position: Graphics Designer

Job Location: Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Conceptualize and create visually appealing designs, illustrations, and layouts for a variety of digital and print media, including websites, social media posts, advertisements, brochures, flyers, posters, and presentations.
• Collaborate with clients, marketing teams, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements, objectives, and target audience demographics.
• Ensure that designs adhere to brand standards, style guides, and specifications, maintaining consistency and coherence across all marketing collateral.
• Review and revise designs based on feedback from clients, team members, and stakeholders, incorporating changes and adjustments as needed.
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and design best practices, continuously improving skills and knowledge.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Develop design concepts, sketches, and mock-ups based on project briefs, brand guidelines, and creative direction.
• Use graphic design software, such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), to create and edit digital graphics, images, and multimedia content.
• Select appropriate colors, fonts, imagery, and layout techniques to effectively communicate messages and enhance visual appeal.
• Maintain organized files and documentation, including design assets, project files, and version control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent certification in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a graphics designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing creative and professional design work across various mediums.
• Proficiency in graphic design software and tools, such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Sketch, or similar programs.
• Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout techniques.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present ideas and concepts effectively.
• Attention to detail, accuracy, and precision in design work, with a focus on quality and consistency.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, manage multiple projects, and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
• Knowledge of web design principles, HTML, CSS, and responsive design concepts is a plus.
