Job Position: Graphics Designer

Job Location: Lekki, Lagos

Job Description

• Plans concept by studying the client’s brief.
• Creating ad layouts using copy, typefaces, images, and color schemes to communicate the client’s message.
• Collaborating with copy writers or Creative Lead to discuss project goals and design concepts.
• Illustrates concept by designing rough layout of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Designing for digital presentations.
• Developing original graphic content and visual styles.
• Preparing and presenting rough drafts to clients and team members for feedback
• Revising designs based on feedback and implementing changes as needed
• Create visual concepts, using computer software or by hand, to communicate ideas that inspire, inform, and captivate consumers.
• Prepares work to be accomplished by gathering information and materials.
• Researching industry-specific design trends and staying up-to-date on new software and design techniques.
• Gathering and evaluating user requirements in collaboration with clients.
• Ensuring final designs are visually appealing and effective at conveying the desired message.
• Managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Key Requirements

• A degree in Design, Fine Arts or a related field is a plus.
• 4 - 5 years of work experience.
• Proven graphic designing experience.
• A strong portfolio of illustrations or other graphics.
• Proficient in Adobe's Photoshop, In-design and Illustrator software.
• An understanding of HTML and other web design applications.
• Must have experience working in a Marketing and Communications Agency.
• Know about color and design fundamentals, motion graphics, traditional typography, digital illustration, web page scripting, business graphic design and web page design.
• Familiarity with design software and technologies (such as In-Design, Illustrator, Dream-weaver, Photo shop).
• A keen eye for aesthetics and details.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines.

Salary
N150,000 / month.
