POSITION SUMMARY:
The single largest budget at Iroko is content. We are looking for someone to deliver high quality strategic advice and creative content solutions to our content acquisitions and production teams. Working in content strategy you will be helping individual business groups at Iroko solve some of their most critical financial and strategic challenges. We’re looking for candidates who will thrive in a dynamic environment where multitasking and time management skills are essential.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Analyse on platform data to guide content acquisition team
  • Analyse search / traffic / hours delivered data to help identify paid user trends
  • Analyse inbound tracking data to understand content conversion funnel.
  • Continuously measure ROI on different content groups (movie vs tv series) / genres (family vs drama vs comedy etc) / platforms (irokotv / iroko global)
  • Track and report content performance
  • Calculate ROI on content acquisition funnel
  • Calculate and future model ROI on in house productions
  • Analyse search / traffic / hours delivered data to help identify paid user trends
  • Analyse inbound tracking data to understand content conversion funnel.
  • Analyse 3rd party data (AR data, Social Media etc) to help identify and qualify great content.
  • Create acquisitions models for different Iroko business groups (linear channels, irokotv, inflight, programme licensing, digital etc)
  • Optimise cost per content and licensing frameworks to ensure
  • liaise with content acquisition teams to understand requirements and optimise buying patterns

IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • Proven content selling experience.
  • Experience of selling to broadcasters and/or digital platforms.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills, proven analytical skills and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team with minimal supervision, creative flexible and ability to prioritize in stressful environment.
  • Dynamic and energetic approach to work.
  • An appreciation of Nollywood or African-produced content an advantage.
  • Able to work in a fast paced work environment, and unsupervised
