Job Title: Head Teacher

Key Responsibilities


  • Manage day to day operations of the school and report directly to the director of the school
  • Create strategic marketing plans to increase student enrolment and be active in school marketing and communications
  • Manage faculty and other human resource personnel
  • Conduct break even and sensitivity analysis to assess how school resources should be managed
  • Implement policies to promote efficient use of resources
  • Ensure the school remains a collaborative and friendly environment for staff and kids
  • Be responsible for ensuring a positive working culture - this includes creating events and workshops for teacher training, staff bonding etc.
  • Work with academic head to achieve the school's academic mission and vision.
  • Manage the afterschool and holiday programme activities, including planning, organizing and marketing
  • Develop innovative ways for efficient information management

Job Requirements

  • At least Bachelor's degree in Education or Bachelor's degree in any discipline with a PGCE
  • At least 3 years of experience in a British Curriculum School setting
  • At least 3 years of managerial experience in a similar role, including marketing experience.
  • Previous travel/exposure to the UK, US or Europe

  • Ability to manage human resource personnel
  • Exceptional organizational skills: ability to account for day to day operational expenses and materials used
  • Ability to foster an amiable rapport with parents and address any issue that may arise
  • Security conscious - be able to keep the data of staff and students properly
  • Ability to make sound judgments and take initiative
  • Ability to research and recruit new teaching talents to the school
  • Ability to research new innovative ways to make the school stand out in the competitive education environment.
  • Must be a team player and be able to work with authority
  • Must love being around children.
  • Must be charismatic, presentable and personable
