Job Overview

• The Hotel General Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the hotel operation, including managing staff, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining the overall financial health of the property.
• In addition, theGeneral Manager will be a strategic leader with excellent communication and organizational skills, and a strong emphasis on providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage, supervise, and mentor staff across all departments, including front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient operation of the hotel.
• Monitor and control expenses to ensure profitability and financial sustainability.
• Develop and execute strategic plans for long-term growth and success of the hotel.
• Monitor and maintain high standards of guest service, satisfaction, and retention.
• Oversee sales and marketing initiatives to drive revenue and occupancy levels.
• Coordinate with corporate management, owners, and stakeholders to provide regular updates on property performance and progress.
• Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management / Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in hotel operations management, with at least 8years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of hotel operations, financial management, and customer service best practices.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven track record of driving revenue and profitability in a hotel setting.
• Ability to think strategically and make sound business decisions.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of hotel management software and technology.
