We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Position: Human Resource Generalist
Job Location: Ibadan, Oyo
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Duties
- Staffing: Organising and overseeing the recruitment, selection and hiring process of vacant positions in the company and projecting the future staff needs of the company.
- Onboarding: Organising and seeing to the orientation of newly hired employees on policies, internal procedures and regulations.
- Administrative duties: Generating official internal documents such as offer letters, appointment letters, salary slips and warning letters. Maintaining physical and digital files of employees and their documents, benefits and attendance records
- Compliance: Ensuring that both the company and employees comply with the federal, state, local government and labour union regulations.
- Training and Development: Seeing to the constant improvement of the workforce and performance through training, development, career planning etc.
- Total Rewards and Payroll: Using financial and non-financial tools to attract motivate and retain employees through compensation, benefits, recognition and work life balance/effectiveness. Managing salary payments and ensuring all necessary deductions i.e., payee, tax, pension, penalties and loansare removed.
- Strategy and Planning: Identifying current and future needs to achieve organisational goals by analysis, planning, effectiveness, metrics and technology.
- Performance Management: Evaluating employees’ performance and organising improvement and intervention measures.
- Employee Health and Safety: Seeing to the safety, health and welfare of employees at work.
- Conflict Resolution and Disciplinary Actions: Taking appropriate disciplinary action against employees who violate rules and regulations and addressing employee grievances.
- Employee and Labour Relations:Managing relationships in the workplace, seeking balance between the needs of the employee and the needs of the company.Preventing and resolving problems involving employees which stem out of or affect work situations.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of B.Sc. in Human Resource Management or any related field.
- M.Sc., CIPM/PHRI certification is an added advantage.
- Must have an experience in full cycle recruitment.
- Must have 1-3 years of relevant work experience in the profession.
- Must have solid communication and written skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and leadership skills
- Must have relevant and updated knowledge of labour laws and other human resource laws.
- Proficient in MS Word and MS Excel.
- Preferably between ages 25--35 years.
- 1 must be diligent and pay attention to details.
- Must be a team player.
Salary
N100,000 - N120,000 (depending on experience)
