Job Position: Human Resource Manager
Job Location: Kaduna

Job Summary

• The Human Resource Manager will be responsible for managing employee life cycle, recruiting, hiring, onboarding, training and firing employees, preparing employee payroll and updating employee policies.

Responsibilities

• Identifying hiring needs, recruiting staff, which involves developing job descriptions and person specifications.
• Ensure that staff get paid correctly and on time.
• Ensure to always prepare job adverts, checking application forms, shortlisting, interviewing and selecting candidates.
• Organizing staff training sessions and activities.
• Monitoring staff performance and attendance across all offices in Nigeria.
• Advising line managers and other employees on employment law and employer’s own employment policies and procedures.
• Negotiating salaries, contracts, working conditions or redundancy packages with staff and representatives.
• Looking for health, safety and welfare of all employees.
• Maintaining and updating employee records.
• Manage and direct the development of the company induction and orientation program for new recruits.

Qualifications and Skills

• BSc / MSc Degree in Human Resource or relevant field.
• 5 - 8 years of proven work experience as a Human Resource Officer.
• Solid understanding of labour legislation and payroll process.
• Team management skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
