Job Position: Human Resources Executive

About the Job

  • Overseeing the day-to-day Human Resources responsibilities and activities and managing recruitment processes, employee relations, regulatory compliance, performance management, and training and development for employees.

Responsibilities


  • Coordinate the recruitment and selection process of the organization.
  • Collaborates with functional heads to understand the required skills and competencies for the preparation of a standard job description for the role to be filled
  • Conducts or/and acquires background checks and employment eligibility verifications
  • Coordinate new hire orientation, onboarding, and employee recognition programmes
  • Implement the performance management policy/framework
  • Coordinate quarterly, half-year, and full-year performance appraisal
  • Prepare and implement a learning and development plan in line with overall business objectives
  • Organise and facilitate internal general training and workshop on relevant subjects
  • Develop and manage HR operations service delivery strategy and infrastructure
  • Coordinate the administration of the following processes; Payroll Administration, Leave Management, Staff Requisition, and Reimbursements
  • Manage the effective deployment and efficient use of the HR Management System (SeamlessHR)
  • Create and maintain relevant staff records
  • Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
  • Ensure effective resolution of conflict and employee’s complaints
  • Ensure timely resolution and implementation of the outcome of employee disciplinary processes.
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Provides workforce insights and data analytics on the organisation’s staff, analysing workforce data and industry trends to guide recommendations on employee-related issues, policies, and practices.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree from a reputable university.
  • Postgraduate Degree will be an added advantage.
  • 5 - 8 years of work experience at least 2 years in a team leadership role
  • Cognate experience as a Human Resources Generalist is a requirement
  • Professional HR certification is an added advantage
  • Experience working in a financial services firm will be preferred
