We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Import and Export Logistics Officer 
Job Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Import Responsibilities
Customs Documentation & Compliance:

• Prepare and review import documents (Bill of Lading, Commercial Invoice, Packing List)
• Ensure compliance with local customs regulations
• Coordinate with customs brokers and clearing agents
• Track duty payments, taxes, and import permits

Shipment Coordination:

• Arrange international freight (air, sea, land)
• Monitor shipment status and resolve delays
• Communicate with suppliers and freight forwarders

Cost Management:

• Calculate landed costs (freight, duties, insurance)
• Compare freight quotations
• Control demurrage and storage charges

Export Responsibilities
Export Documentation:

• Prepare export documents (Commercial Invoice, Certificate of Origin, Export Declaration)
• Ensure compliance with international trade regulations
• Coordinate inspection and certification requirements

Shipping & Distribution:

• Book cargo space with shipping lines or airlines
• Arrange container loading and transportation to port
• Monitor shipment until delivery

Trade Compliance:

• Ensure adherence to export control laws
• Manage export licenses if required
• Stay updated on international trade policies
