Taafoo.com is an online retail service that enables individuals to shop through our platform and for merchants to reach those individuals who visit our site. We originally began operations in 2009 as a messaging platform for connecting individuals with celebrities, and have evolved quickly to meet the needs of the Nigerian internet user. 

We are looking for a suitably qualified individual to fill this position.

Job Title: Graphic Artist (In-House)
Location: Lagos

Qualifications and Requirements: 

• Candidate must have related certification from a reputable Institution.
• Candidate must have minimum of three (3) yrs graphic artistry working experience.
• Minimum of OND in a related discipline.
• Must live in Lagos.
• Speed and accuracy with attention to details.
• Ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong Computer Skills
• Creative Flair, Originality & Strong Visual Sense
• Proficient with the use of the Adobe Photoshop, Corel Draw, GIMP, Dreamweaver, Web Design Software
• Good Oral & Written Communication

Responsibilities: 

• The Graphic artist is responsible for creating design solutions that have a high visual impact. He/She will work to an agreed brief with the line manager and develop creative ideas and concepts, choosing the appropriate media and style to meet the company’s objectives.
• Working with a wide range of media, including photography and computer-aided design (CAD).
• Create, design and produce artwork for signage and flyers according to company specifications.
• Contribute ideas and design artwork to the company’s overall brief.
• Interpreting the business needs and developing creative concepts to suit their purpose.
• Using innovation to redefine interactive design briefs within the constraints of cost and time.
• Keeping abreast of emerging technologies in new media, particularly design programs such as QuarkXPress, FreeHand, Illustrator, Photoshop, 3Ds Max, Acrobat, Dreamweaver and Flash.
