UMERA Farms operate in the diversified agribusiness; livestock and crop farming production, with our primary focus on cashew crop production.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Information Technologist
Job Location: Ibadan, Oyo
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• The IT Officer will be responsible for overseeing and managing all information technology systems and infrastructure within the agribusiness company.
• This includes supporting farm management software, ensuring data security, maintaining computer systems, and providing technical support to staff. The role is critical in leveraging technology to improve efficiency in both office and farm operations.

Key Responsibilities
Systems & Network Management:

• Install, configure, and maintain IT infrastructure including hardware, software, and networking systems.
• Manage internet connectivity, LAN/WAN networks, routers, and modems across farm and office sites.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.

Software & Data Management:

• Implement and support agribusiness software systems (e.g., farm management platforms, inventory software, accounting systems).
• Maintain databases and ensure regular backup of critical farm and business data.
