Job Title: Interim Factory Manager

Purpose of the Position


  • Develop, implement and review standards of operating practices that will ensure consistent delivery of desired results for product, process and people within a Packing Operation and Environment.
  • A focus on continuous improvement of practises is expected, considering end to end processes (rather than a more narrow production focus).
  • Building and maintaining relationships in line with our client’s ethical standards.

  • Development of People Resource for Extra-ordinary Results
  • Manage planning and production processes to deliver current quality, cost and time targets as well as building for the future
  • Ongoing Maintenance Planning and Implementation of Plant Assets and Equipment

Key Performance Indicators:

  • Achieve yearly targets on quality, line utilization and cost, in line with Thai & Swiss plants
  • Achieve flat/improved cost of goods YoY
  • Proactive balancing between plans, market needs, production efficiency to minimize underutilization and waste
  • Achieve OEE >80%
  • Develop and retain talent as well as build strong succession plan

Authorities:

  • Develop and Implement SOP’s in line with Key Success Factors
  • Development of Annual Budgets and Targets in line with Company Direction
  • Recruit and Dismiss Direct Staff in line with plant’s policies and procedures
  • Daily Management Control of Operations

Experience and Skills
Production and Processing:

  • Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods

Quality:

  • Understanding and ability to build quality processes and control methodology to manage packaging, raw materials and finished goods

Technical:

  • Ability to build and manage technical and regulatory specifications

Change Management:

  • Ability to see opportunities, formulate a plan to move to a new status and bring others along
  • Project Management

Communication:

  • Ability to adjust their style to different audiences and cultures
