Animal Care ServicesKonsult Nigeria Limited, an agro-allied company that is into livestock farming, Feedmilling, Technical Laboratory Services, fishery and marketing of health products. We are committed to animal health and production and focused on being the foremost operator in the livestock industry in Nigeria. We recently diversify into Food and Bottling manufacturing production under our subsidiary company Funtuna Ventures Limited.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Internal Audit Officer

Job Location: Ogere Remo, Ogun
Employment Type: Full-time

What Duties Will You Have?

• Evaluating risk management activities within the organization.
• Implementing controls to protect against fraud and theft of the organizational assets and money.
• Determining the organization’s compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
• Evaluating and making recommendations that can assist in improving internal control.
• Consistently reviewing company business practices.
• Making recommendations on process improvement.
• Performing audit assignments as may be assigned from time to time
• Identifying audit scope and developing annual plans within the organization.
• Gathering, analyzing, evaluating, and presenting accounting documentation, reports, data, and flowcharts.
• Promoting ethics and identifying improper conduct within the company.
• Ensuring that risk management procedures are in place.
• Ensuring laws and regulations are compliant.

What Skills Must You Have?

• Should possess a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Experience of 4+ years in retail management or manufacturing sector would be preferred.

• Exceptional mathematical skills to verify entries
• Good critical-thinking skills to gather all of the available data and make informed decisions
• Excellent research skills to find all related information needed
• Knowledge of retail processes, systems, and controls is important.
• Proficiency in MS Office packages and accounting software/spreadsheets
• Strong communication skills to work with Accountants and other coworkers
• Professional qualification will be an added advantage
