JKLC Professional services is a member firm of Russell Bedford international company and we are a team of Independent chattered accountants providing accounting, Tax and business advisory services.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Internal Audit Officer

Job Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Access the company's risk and the efficacy of it's risk management efforts. Regular mapping of existing as well as emerging risks. Objectively access existing / current IT system and business proccesses across the company and perform a SWOT analysis.
• Regularly review company policies and procedures, ensuring they are up to date with all legislation and best practices.
• Undertake internal audits to ensure the company meets it's financial, operational and compliance objectives.
• Assure safeguards.
• Support the development of an assurance planning reporting process.
• Report on group spending on a month-to-month basis to identify spending trends and to help identify areas for further cost reductions and focus.
• Report on control deficiencies to company Management and make recommendations to mitigate risks and add value.
• Regular mapping of existing as well as emerging risks.

Requirements

• B.Sc or HND in Accounting or equivalent work experience. Membership of ICAN preferred.
• 3 - 5 years of work experience.
• Expert knowledge in Excel, pivot tables, charts and report presentation. Knowledge of BUSY Accounting software. Excellent oral/written communication, interpersonal and analytical skills. Background and familiarity with operations and Inventory management at a telecoms or FMCG company would be ideal.
