Animal Care Service Konsult Nigeria Limited, an agro-allied company that is into livestock farming, Feedmilling, Technical Laboratory Services, fishery and marketing of health products. We are committed to animal health and production and focused on being the foremost operator in the livestock industry in Nigeria. We recently diversify into Food and Bottling manufacturing production under our subsidiary company Funtuna Ventures Limited.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Internal Control Officer
Job Location: Ogere, Ogun
Employment Type: Full-time

What You Will Do

• Inventory management control
• Identify accounting and financial record-keeping processes that can be improved
• Prepare and submit periodic activity / reports to the Internal Control Manager
• Ensures that daily, weekly, monthly stock-taking of items are carried out.
• Interpret and analyze reports / data / information to identify possible risk exposure.
• Review internal audit and regulatory compliance reports and monitor the implementation of the recommendations.
• Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures of each department and processes in line with best practices.
• Checking the accounting and internal control system to ensure that these are suitably designed to reduce the possibility of fraud and error.
• Perform and control the full audit cycle including risk management and control management over operations’ effectiveness, financial reliability, and compliance with all applicable statutory regulations.
• Identify loopholes and recommend risk aversion measures and cost reductions.
• Conduct follow up audits to monitor management’s interventions.

Job Requirements

• Minimum of Second class Upper or Upper credit for B.Sc. / HND holders respectively in Accounting / Finance from a reputable tertiary Institution.
• 3 years of experience in control and compliance units
• Professional qualifications ICAN, IIA etc. and MSc. degree will be an added advantage.
• Must be between 25 - 30 years
• Male / Female.

• Excellent attention to detail to review large amounts of data and numbers

• Good critical-thinking skills to gather all of the available data and make informed decisions
• Excellent research skills to find all related information needed
• Proficiency in accounting software and spreadsheets.
