We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Inventory Auditor

Job Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Supervision of Inventory Officers, Warehouse Loader and Receiver Staff and ensure security checks procedures are followed.
• Design and implement an inventory tracking system to optimize inventory control procedures.
• Prevent overstocking of non-fast-moving products to reduce expired products and loss of profitability.
• Report or escalate any problem or irregularity discovered during the audit to the head of the Department for management consumption.
• Compiling weekly audit reports of findings and suggesting solutions to any problems encountered during the audit.
• Enforce/ ensure compliance of all inventory/warehouse staff and other staff in all the departments to Standard of Operating Procedures and recommend disciplinary measures when necessary.
• Ensure diesel record is accurate, follow up with Security Officers to minimize errors.
• Identify discrepancies in the inventory and carry out investigation especially on the products with shortages to prevent further occurrence.
• Reviewing purchase orders with actual invoice and other records to ensure that SOP on inventory is strictly adhered to.
• Conducting stock reconciliation of inventories to ensure that they are accurately valued.
• Performing audit cycle to ensure that the company’s financial report reflects the accurate figures(value) used for inventory (both opening and closing) in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
• Ensuring stock reconciliation is done for all inventories with discrepancies.
• Ensure proper investigation and reconciliation on stock performance and market returns.

Qualification

• Minimum of B.Sc / HND in Accounting or any related field.
• At least 1year of relevant Audit experience is compulsory.
• ACA or other relevant certification is an advantage.

Salary Range
N50,000 - N100,000 / month
