Job Position: Inventory Officer

Job Summary

• The State Inventory Officers are responsible for managing the inventory of POS devices, ensuring accurate tracking, storage, and distribution. 
• This role involves validating serial numbers, monitoring stock levels, and coordinating with relevant teams to ensure efficient inventory operations.

Key Responsibilities
Inventory Management:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of POS devices, including stock levels, locations, and serial numbers.
• Monitor inventory levels to identify stock shortages and coordinate timely replenishment.
• Conduct regular stock counts and inventory audits to reconcile physical stock with logical inventory.

Serial Validation:

• Verify the accuracy of serial numbers for all received POS devices and ensure they match corresponding records.
• Promptly communicate any discrepancies to relevant stakeholders and take necessary corrective actions.
• Maintain detailed documentation of all serial validation activities and outcomes.

Discrepancy Management:

• Investigate and resolve discrepancies between physical stock and logical inventory.
• Implement corrective actions to prevent future discrepancies and improve inventory accuracy.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Coordinate with procurement, sales, and warehouse teams to ensure efficient inventory operations.
• Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders regarding inventory status, stock availability, and any inventory-related concerns.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Perform other duties as delegated and assigned by the Line Manager.

Requirements

• OND / HND / Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
• Similar experience in inventory management or related roles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to reconcile discrepancies and identify areas for improvement.
• Proficiency in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
• Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Salary
N140,000 - N162,000 Monthly.
