Baywood Foundation is a non-profit organization that provides healthcare services and access to economic opportunities to vulnerable populations and at-risk communities in Nigeria. Our primary aim is to support populations and communities at negative edges of household income, unemployment, healthcare access, illiteracy, marginalization and exclusion.

We are recruiting to fill the positions below:

Job Position: IT / Communication Officer

Job Location: Enugu

Job Description

• Write, edit, and distribute content, including publications, press releases, website content, annual reports, speeches, and other marketing material that communicates the organization's activities, products and/or services.
• Manage Organization’s Website
• Manage social media communications and company’s branding
• Create designs and concepts to promote brand awareness.
• Assist in sponsoring company’s goals through participating in the overall development and execution of communication tactics.
• Review, edit, and finalize visual marketing projects while ensuring contents are updated regularly.
• Prepare communication and media promotion budget, and appraise growth.
• Provide exceptional services in managing virtual communications.
• Oversee all creative inputs on company’s communications and publications.
• Optimizes company website content for internet search engines
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

• HND / Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or ICT related course. IT Certifications will be an added advantage.
• Relevant working experience in ICT Sector. An experience working with an NGO will be a plus.
• Highly skilled at Website Management, Content Development and Graphics Design.
• Must have completed NYSC.
• Must have exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Must have the ability to effectively prioritize projects and multi-task.
• Must be highly detail oriented.
• Must have excellent interpersonal skills.
• Must have good problem solving and decision making skills.
• Must have exceptional networking skills.
