Job Position: Supermarket Supervisor

Job Description

• The supermarket Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all the activities that play out in the Supermarket and Cafe.
• The ideal candidate is expected to provide effective supervision and ensure the transformation of the supermarket.

Job Responsibilities

• Improve profit and attain sales target of the supermarket
• Deal with all complaints, queries, and other related customer service issues
• Organize training, orientation, and supervise all staff activities
• Oversee receiving orders and stock control
• Report to Managing Director of Supermarket.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess an OND / HND / Bachelor's Degree with 8 - 20 years relevant work experience.

Salary
N80,000 - N150,000 Monthly.

Job Position: Assistant Supermarket Supervisor

Job Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

• The Assistant Supervisor is responsible for supporting the Supervisor in the daily business operations of the supermarket.
• General tasks include supervising employees, inventory management, communicating with and helping customers and carrying out directives given by the Supervisor and the Managing Director.
• Assist Supervisor to train staff
• Take inventory records
• Leads and supervises a team of Sales Attendants.
• Performs daily store activities such as opening and closing procedures which includes monitoring attendance, and activating security systems.
• Display merchandise to maximize purchasing appeal
• Organize sales and product demonstrations
• Write sales and customer reports and make recommendations for improvements
• Interact with customers and resolve complaints or grievances

Qualifications

• Minimum of HND / B.Sc Degree
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a worker in a supermarket.
• Demonstrates excellent leadership skill

Job Position: Supermarket Sales Attendant

Job Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

• Ensures all items are appropriately tagged with current prices
• Price, Stack and displays items for sale and keeps the store tidy and attractive
• Closely monitors goods about to expire and takes appropriate action in conjunction with Supervisor.
• Monitors items on display making sure there are no empty spaces on the shelves.
• Relate with all customers in a very professional and polite manner.

Qualifications

• Minimum SSCE / OND or equivalent qualification required.
• 1 - 3 years experience as a sales representative.
• Proven customer service or retail experience is a plus.
• Great attention to detail and confidence
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Energetic.

Responsibilities

• Attend to customers inquiries
• Requests Stock and replace products to avoid damages
• Provide excellent customer service Keep shelves fully stocked with fresh products.
• Maximise customer interest and sales levels by displaying products appropriately.
• Prepare store display and make sure products are accurately labelled .
• Process customers order and payment in a timely and efficent manner.

Requirements

• OND / HND / B.Sc
• 1 to 3 years of working experience in a supermarket
• Must be computer literate
• Excellent customer-facing skill
• Good communication skill.
