1.) Senior Product Manager, Software

Job Description

Responsibilities
- Define the product strategy for Duplo’s SaaS products and build an effective roadmap.
- Contribute to the product vision together with the Chief Product Officer.
- Lead product pods and collaborate with other teams to deliver on goals.
- Lead innovation by proposing ambitious features.
- Validate product strategies that will have outsized impact with a combination of qualitative user research and quantitative experimentation.
- Work with merchant-facing internal stakeholders, direct and utilize user research, data analysis, and market research to identify high-priority seller and business opportunity areas
Skills, Experience and Qualifications
- 7+ years of product management experience building SaaS products or equivalent in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience developing product strategies and breaking them down into clearly scoped roadmaps and requirements.
- Analytical rigor - experience diving into data and extrapolating insights to make decisions.
- Strong knowledge of UI/UX
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create clarity from ambiguity and distill complex issues into easy-to-understand narratives.
- Experience testing and launching products at scale with a high bar for experimental rigor.
2.) Head of Global Compliance
Job Location: Lagos (Hybrid)
Department: Risk & Compliance

Job Description
- We are seeking an experienced Head of Global Compliance who will play a critical role in managing and enforcing the global compliance framework with a focus on global payments, FX solutions and cross-border payments.
- This individual will be required to develop strategies to drive compliance in all applicable jurisdictions and help DuploPay mitigate risk.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute Duplo Pay’s global compliance strategy aligned with regulatory requirements.
- Ensure adherence with all global regulatory requirements including but not limited to AML/CFT, KYC, and other applicable standards
- Create and oversee the implementation of risk management policies and procedures in the global payments and cross-border payment fields.
- Lead the effort to procure and maintain required regulatory licenses in applicable jurisdictions
- Act as a primary point of contact on compliance issues with global regulatory bodies, financial institutions, etc across various jurisdictions.
- Conduct risk assessments, investigate and resolve compliance breaches ensuring corrective actions are adhered to.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams such as product, operations, legal, etc to ensure compliance requirements are incorporated into necessary processes.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of compliance metrics, issues, and regulatory filings
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing global compliance team.
- Ensure training programs are designed and implemented for all employees in line with regulatory requirements fostering a culture of accountability and compliance across the Company
- Monitor and stay abreast of regulatory requirements across jurisdictions.
- Be a trusted advisor to Duplo’s Management Team on compliance-related matters and risk mitigation strategies.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in compliance and/or risk management, within the global payments, FX or financial services industry
- Deep understanding of the global payments landscape, FX solutions, and cross-border transaction complexities.
- Experience with managing interactions with auditors and regulators
- Experience with global expansion and market entry
- Strong leadership and team-building skills, with a passion for developing talent and driving results.
- Excellent analytical, decision-making, communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills
- Entrepreneurial mindset, comfortable with ambiguity, and able to thrive in a fast-moving startup environment.
3.) Account Executive
Job Location: Lagos, Nigeria
Job type: Full-time (Hybrid)
Department: Sales and Business Development

- The ideal individual will be the leading force that fuels our growing client relationships in the Nigerian and African markets, have proven experience building on existing relationships, creating new ones, eliminating competitor threats within our customer base, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- The Account Executive will be a proactive and curious member of our sales team, identifying growth opportunities for clients before a need or gap has been stated. This level of foresight and meticulous analysis is what will take our company confidently into the future.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain lasting relationships with clients and partners by understanding their focus and anticipating their needs
- Present and demonstrate products and services to prospective clients
- Acquiring more clients through prospecting and canvassing e.g networking and cold calling.
- Coordinating internal tasks related to accounts to ensure clients receive products and services
- Assisting new clients through processes relating to the products and services to ensure seamless experience
- Manage the entire sales cycle from finding a client to securing a deal
- Unearth new sales opportunities through networking and turn them into long-term partnerships
- Coordinate internal and external resources to expedite workflow
- Stay current with company offerings and industry trends
- Create detailed business plans designed to attain predetermined goals and quotas
- Remain in regular contact with your clients to understand and meet their needs
- Negotiate agreements, keep records of sales and data and maintain a database of clients, prospects, partners, and vendors
- Follow up with clients regularly to ensure needs are being met and to identify opportunities
Requirements
- B.Sc. or BA Degree in Business Administration, Sales or Marketing or other related fields.
- Minimum of 4-5 years of proven experience as a SaaS Account Executive, SaaS salesperson, preferably enterprise software or as an Account Executive in the fintech space
- Knowledge of market research, sales and negotiating principles
- Outstanding knowledge of google workspace; knowledge of CRM software (eg. Hubspot) is a plus
- Excellent communication/presentation skills and ability to build relationships
- Organizational and time-management skills
- Possess great business acumen
- Enthusiastic and passionate about sales
- Ability to manage multiple accounts while seeking new ones.
